ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING YOUTUBE VIDEOS ON LENGTH MEASUREMENT MATERIALS FOR SECOND-GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using YouTube videos on length measurement for second-grade elementary school students at the “Omah Privat” tutoring center. The research method involved data collection through questionnaires and tests, including student response questionnaires and pretest and posttest results. The results showed a 95% response rate from the student questionnaires. Based on these results, the YouTube videos are considered valid and suitable for use in learning activities. Furthermore, students’ cognitive scores on the pretest were 56%, and on the posttest, 92%. The results of the pretest and posttest scores indicate an improvement, and student responses suggest that the use of YouTube videos is effective in teaching the mathematics topic of length measurement, enabling students to better understand the material.
