THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE OF CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: A CASE STUDY

This study aims to understand the learning experiences and barriers faced by students with cerebral palsy in elementary school. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection in this study was conducted through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that students with cerebral palsy can learn in regular classrooms. The barriers experienced by students with cerebral palsy include weak motor skills, physical fatigue, communication difficulties, teacher readiness, and school accessibility. The findings of this study suggest the need to improve teacher competencies and school accessibility so that services for students with cerebral palsy can be provided optimally.
